I often find myself saying I trust in God, or lets just trust in God, or Gods got it. But how often when we say that do we also plan how to sort the problem, find the solution or do it our selfs. I found myself saying this almost every day for about 2 weeks in the summer.
It was leading up to the best day of my life, the 5th of August, the day i married my beautiful wife. I like to plan stuff, and our wedding was no exception, everything was planned and sorted, from the food to lighting in the portable loos, we had sorted it. But as we gained ever near closer to the day the weather forecast kept getting worse and worse. And i found myself say more and more, lets just trust God, i also said, its dose not matter if it rains, it will be great either way. Which if I'm honest, rain on our wedding day was not in the plan.
So the day came and God used the day to teach me a massive lesson the lesson was 'God is in control!' During the morning it poured down just as we where in the service at the church. After the service, travelling across to the reception it poured down, then during our photo shoot, in the back ground we had very dark sky's, thunder and lighting, but no rain.
I heard God saying, I am in control, trust me.
For the rest of the day not a drop of rain in site.

Are you not much more valuable than they? 27Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his lifespan?28And why do you worry about clothes? Consider how the lilies of the field grow: They do not labor or spin.…
